Good Monday Morning, Dear Subscribers.
There are now #NEARLY a score (20) of ya’ll subscribed to me here at substack.com and I appreciate your readership & interest.
Let’s think of ourselves as an online community at this site where “Caring & Sharing” is encouraged. So, I’ll start.
One of my heroes is the late great psychologist/author #AbrahamMaslow. He helped all of humanity by identifying and rank ordering what we human beings, worldwide, require to first survive, and then to thrive. He named these fundamental existential requirements the “Hierarchy of Needs.” There are four: two basic “lower order” and two subsequent “higher order” needs we are ALL striving to satisfy.
Think of a 4-tiered wedding cake. The foundation is our Physiological need for “food/water, clothing & shelter.” Without that most basic of necessities, potable water, no human being can survive more than ten or twelve days. With them, we’re able to address our Psychological need to feel “Safe & Secure.” More on this need later.
Now, with our lower order physiological & psychological needs covered, we’re prepared to address our higher order needs, first to “belong” and thereafter to “self-actualize.”
I’ll explain these needs later.
For now, think about this: We’re All more #NEARLY to optimum good health, wellness, when aware Nutrition-Exercise-Attitude(of gratitude &-)Rest Lengthens Youthfulness.
Get it? That’s an important acronym to remember: NEARLY.

2) Change is THE One Certainty.

4) #GodIsLove (Period! ref. 1 John 4:8), thus S/He/It is omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (all powerful) & omnipresent (everywhere & most especially in every living thing).

Grant us the Serenity to accept what we cannot change, the courage to change what we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
